The Citizens Commission on Human Rights (CCHR) International has launched a new “Fight For Kids” campaign that aims to inform and educate parents, caregivers and everyone out there who’s concerned with the well-being of children about the dangers associated with psychotropic pharmaceuticals.
The program seeks to be an advocate for kids who don’t have a voice in being forcibly medicated with mind-altering drugs that the system says many of them need in order to live “healthy” lives. Put simply, being a kid isn’t a mental disorder, but that’s what Big Pharma wants society to think.
Current statistics show that as many as 6.7 million children in the United States are taking prescribed psychotropic drugs to treat “symptoms” that, in all reality, are just normal childhood behaviors. This is a problem because there have been more than 400,000 adverse effects reported in association with these drugs, which carry with them more than 400 regulatory warnings.
Believe it or not, 19 states in our country are still electroshocking children for perceived behavioral issues, while a shocking seven of them include babies aged 0-5 as qualified candidates.

Nearly 3.5 million children in America are also prescribed drugs for ADHD (attention deficit hyperactivity disorders), despite the fact that these drugs are highly addictive and classified by the U.S. Drug Enforcement Administration (DEA) right alongside opioids, cocaine and morphine.
“In fact, many of the psychotropic drugs prescribed to children are documented by the U.S. FDA to cause ‘drug dependence,’ meaning they are addictive,” warns CCHR.
Antidepressants and anti-anxiety medications are another dangerous category of drugs that’s routinely prescribed to young children under the guise of helping to level out their behavior. Sadly, these drugs can make children have suicidal or homicidal thoughts, and many of them are only supposed to be taken for a few weeks at most, not indefinitely as often prescribed.
The primary goal of CCHR’s Fighting For Kids initiative is to emphasize the fact that there is no medical test in existence that can prove the existence of childhood mental disorders like ADHD. It’s all a completely made-up ruse to turn innocent kids into lifelong pharma customers.
Kids come in an array of personalities and emotional states, and that’s what makes them unique. Because one behaves one way and another behaves another way doesn’t mean that either or both are mentally ill and in need of drug therapy as the pharmaceutical industry would have us all believe.
Simply put, variant behaviors are not diseases, nor are psychiatric diagnoses akin to medical diagnoses. It’s all a lie to convince the masses that drugging children is necessary to make them “normal,” and will somehow serve their best interests throughout their lives.
The really sad part is that most parents and caregivers don’t know any of this. Many of them have been led to believe that children all need to think and behave identically in order to have good mental health, and nothing could be further from the truth.
This is why Fighting For Kids has put together a Parents Know Your Rights page to help equip you and your loved ones with what questions to ask when approached by a doctor, educator or other drug-pusher who wants to get your children hooked on pharma pills.
A big part of the problem is that parents and caregivers of children aren’t being provided with even basic information about how psychiatric medications work. They don’t know the potential – and more accurately, probable – adverse effects associated with their use, nor do they understand that there’s no real recourse if children end up injured or dead.
The whole system is designed with Big Pharma profits in mind, not the health and livelihood of your children, in other words. This is why it’s critical for those who care for and oversee the health and well-being of children to take a closer look at what’s often presented to them as the “solution” to so-called “behavioral problems” in young people.
“No organization has done more to protect children from abuses committed under the guise of ‘mental health’ than the Citizens Commission on Human Rights’ Fight For Kids campaign, which has resulted in the passage of state and federal laws protecting children from being forced to take psychiatric drugs, restrictions implemented on the electroshocking of children, as well as international public awareness campaigns informing parents of their rights,” the group notes.
We also encourage you to take action to report the abuse of children with psychotropic drugs if you see it happening. Fighting For Kids has a Report Abuse link that contains resource information for attorneys, whistleblowers and others who witness abuse against children with psychiatric drugs.
