A radical eco-terrorist group known as the Gaia Liberation Front (GLF) currently holds to a mission statement that includes “the total liberation of the Earth, which can be accomplished only through the extinction of the Humans as a species.” And GLF’s depopulation tool of choice is bioengineering, which the group says is “the specific technology for doing the job right of annihilating humanity.”
If even just one person with the “necessary expertise and access to the necessary equipment” existed, GLF claims, he or she could eliminate all humans from the planet. GLF specifically names “genetically engineered viruses” as a preferred bioweapon because it has the “advantage of attacking only the target species” – meaning animals would all live, and humans would all die.
This form of gene sequencing, which is basically the blanket term used to describe the genetic modification of deadly pathogens, is a very real threat in today’s world for the aforementioned reasons. And this “advanced” technology is perhaps even more ominous than the prospect of an atomic bomb or other nuclear attack because it has the potential to be carried out by one lone, deranged wolf without anyone even noticing until it’s already too late.
GLF is fully aware of the potential for gene sequencing to ultimately destroy humanity, and is actually pushing for this by giving its followers ideas about how to potentially implement it. Since some humans might be immune to one GMO virus, the group suggests unleashing “several different viruses” at varying intervals, just to make sure that everyone is affected.
In an anonymous article published in the Earth First! Journal back in 1989, the author(s) called for “scientific research on a species-specific virus that will eliminate Homo s***icus from the planet,” this reference to Homo s***icus being a mockery of Homo sapiens, which of course describes humans. The article goes on to push for the release of a deadly human-targeting virus to be “set loose” in order to create “equal rights for all other species.”
Such deranged thinking is eerily similar to what mass shooters write in their so-called “manifestos,” except this form of planned mass violence is coming from the halls of leftist academia. Their weapon also isn’t a gun, but rather biotechnology, which we’ve long been warning is a highly sinister technology with one goal in mind: the global depopulation of humans.
“[C]heap and easy gene editing,” as Phil Torres puts it in a piece for Medium‘s OneZero platform, represents a whole new level of threat than even GMOs as most people know them because it means that any crazed lunatic with a little bit of education on how it all works could potentially concoct a deadly virus at home and unleash it on the general population.
“Technologies such as gene drives, digital-to-biological converters, and CRISPR-Cas9 are making it increasingly feasible to synthesize designer pathogens that could be far more devastating than anything found in nature,” Torres further writes.
So, is there any viable solution to this threat? Torres suggests mass surveillance, which obviously contradicts with our Constitution – though it’s already happening at the National Security Agency (NSA) and at Big Tech corporations all throughout Silicon Valley. Torres also points to climate change mitigation as another “solution,” though this presupposes that climate change is actually real.
Even so, gene sequencing is not a good thing, and it likely spells future disaster should it get into the wrong hands.
“Moving forward, people who care about human survival need to think hard not just about the various technologies that will become available, but about the types of actors who might try to use these technologies for catastrophic ill,” Torres warns. “The future of the human race could quite literally depend on it.”
