A group of employees revealed plans to sue The Walt Disney Company for discriminating against workers who refused the experimental Wuhan coronavirus (COVID-19) shots.
Cast Members for Truth and Freedom (CMTF) said in a press conference that the suit, which was filed June 30, represents the plight of all Disney employees across the nation. The suit also represents workers who fight for medical and religious freedom amid the discrimination hurled at those declining the shot out of personal choice.
“Disney targeted cast members who declined COVID-19 vaccinations, including plaintiffs who filed exemptions on grounds of religious faith, stating that taking these injections would violate their deeply held convictions,” the June 3o complaint stated. The lawsuit accused Disney of imposing harsh, unreasonable and discriminatory protocols that were enforced arbitrarily. Based on the said protocols, the company illogically feared unvaccinated cast members were infected with the disease and posed a perpetual danger of other cast members and guests.
Furthermore, unvaccinated employees were visibly made to wear a “bizarre” outfit. They were prohibited from eating or drinking around other cast members or guests and were even instructed to take “breathers” far from other people.
When unvaccinated cast members objected respectfully to the company’s unlawful discrimination against them, the company failed to remediate its actions contrary to the law. Instead, Disney suspended and even terminated the employees for speaking up.
Disney announced its COVID-19 vaccine mandate for all onsite employees back in July 2021. It gave a 60-day deadline for the cast members to complete their vaccination schedule. Employees working from home were not exempt, as they were required to show proof of vaccination before they can return on site.
The media giant added that all new hires must be fully vaccinated before beginning their employment.
Nick Caturano, who leads CMTF, wrote an open letter to Disney pointing out how its demands did not make any sense. The cast member of 18 years pointed out that the media-driven “plandemic” was headed toward committing “crimes against humanity by obliterated freedoms of medical choice, informed consent of conscious and right to provide for oneself and family.”
“When the vaccines were announced, I was skeptical about taking something that had no long-term data and was amazed at how quickly everyone claimed it was ‘safe and effective.’ My position – let’s wait and see how this plays out – seemed a reasonable position to take. I also respected and understood why many of my neighbors, friends and family members decided to get vaccinated.”
“We were all hopeful for anything that would work. But unfortunately, it’s evident that this vaccine and the people in charge of protecting Americans’ health and freedom have failed miserably,” Caturano concluded his letter.
Speaking during a press conference about the June 30 lawsuit in Kissimmee, Florida, the leader of CMTF said: “Our lawsuit against these discriminatory practices will bring to light that the ‘happiest place on earth’ has normalized blatant discrimination, terrorized families, threatened livelihoods, and coerced permanent, medical decisions – injections that cannot be ‘taken off’ at the end of a work day like a costume or pair of shoes.”
